Dr. Stacy Skoraczewski joined the Waunakee Veterinary Clinic in October 2017.
She received her bachelor's degree in Biology from UW-Green Bay, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Dr. Stacy practices small animal medicine, but has treated over 60 species of animals, including large animals, exotics, and wildlife. Dr. Stacy practiced in northern Minnesota for three and a half years, and spent the last four years in her northern Wisconsin hometown on Lake Superior.
Dr. Stacy's interests include ophthalmology, dermatology, surgery and preventative medicine. She also has interests in wildlife medicine, and has been a veterinarian for the North American Bear Center and International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota. Dr. Stacy enjoys caring for working dogs, such as hunting dogs, and sled dogs, including those that have participated in major races such as the Iditarod. She loves working with all animals, and strives to provide the best individualized care for each patient. When not in the clinic, Dr. Stacy loves to golf, hike, paddle board, travel, and bake. Her absolute favorite thing to do is spend time with her family, which includes her husband, son, and Labrador Gabe.
